August 21th 2018. #MVCOM #ProZorro за організації Rivne regional branch of the Association of Cities of Ukraine held a workshop on "Application of legislation in the field of public procurement. ProZorro system ». The event was attended by representatives of the legal department of MVCOM. The public initiative was organized within the framework of the project "Development of a course for strengthening local self-government in Ukraine" (PULS), implemented by the Association of Ukrainian Cities, supported by USAID Ukraine - USAID Ukraine. The participants of the workshop presented the open tender procedure as the main way of public procurement, as well as the peculiarities of the presentation of tender documentation in English. The participants considered the formation of an electronic procurement plan by the Customer, the very organization of purchases and placing the announcement on the electronic platform. Moderator of the event was the agent of the ProZorro team - Mira Primak, who introduced the attendees to the working moments and demonstrated by using the examples of the electronic system "ProZorro". MVCOM lawyers, experienced in procurement tenders, actively supported the topic and provided their own examples of practice, issues and controversial issues that w)ere encountered in the work, explaining how to act properly and providing practical guidance. Finally, there was a lively discussion of the examples under discussion. All participants of the workshop have gained valuable experience and opportunity for further cooperation among themselves, to jointly overcome problems, exchange information.)
